Every year, the GAMNI group rewards the best thesis in numerical methods for engineering
sciences. The competition is based on an annual call for applications, and the winner is
appointed by the jury following a meticulous expertise on each file and long deliberations.
Since 2018, the prize has received between 20 and 30 nominations, all of a very high
standard which attests to the quality and excellence of our young researchers.
Each year, the winner of the SMAI-GAMNI thesis award represents the colors of France
at the thesis award competition of the European organization ECCOMAS.
