UKACM-GACM Autumn School
Open-Source Codes for High-Performance Computing
29 Sep 2025 to 2 Oct 2025
Online only
We are thrilled to invite you to attend the 2025 UKACM-GACM Autumn School focusing on theoretical aspects of computational mechanics combined with hands-on practical activities for research software development. The 2025 UKACM-GACM Autumn School aims to foster knowledge exchange, collaboration, and skill development among professionals, researchers, and students in the field.
The school is jointly organized by the UK Association for Computational Mechanics (UKACM) and the German Association for Computational Mechanics (GACM).
The theme of this year’s school is Enabling Technologies for Computational Engineering and Open-Source Research Software. It will cover both theoretical and practical aspects of open-source initiatives, including Nektar++ (delivered by researchers from Imperial College London, Newcastle University, and King’s College London), 4C & QUEENS (developed by the Technical University of Munich, University of the Bundeswehr Munich, and Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon in Geesthacht), and OpenFOAM (delivered by researchers from Aston University and the University of Birmingham, UK)
Participation at the event is free of charge, but registration is required using this form.
