We are happy to announce that the call for the ECCOMAS Young Investigators Committee Grant 2026 is now open!
The EYIC Grant supports one outstanding project proposal in the fields of computational mechanics and applied mathematics, providing up to 15,000 EUR over two years. Its purpose is to help young investigators take a step toward research independence, expand their network, and develop their scientific profile.
🔹 Application deadline: February 1, 2026
🔹 Announcement of the selected proposal: At the ECCOMAS Congress 2026
🔹 Who can apply: ECCOMAS members within 5 years of their PhD (with exceptions for career breaks)
🔹 What’s funded: Mobility, workshops, software, materials, experiments, open access fees, etc.
🔹 How to apply: Submission details, templates, and full call text are available on the ECCOMAS website.
